The General's Tent

I've been asked several times lately what I mean when I talk about "The General's Tent."

When I first heard of the concept, I was initially confused as well, then fascinated and intrigued as the term sunk in.

There's an old adage that states that "every war is won or lost in the General's tent," meaning that strategy and foresight are more important than mere gruntwork and bulletcatchin'. Most people are in reaction mode most of the time, out in the field gruntworkin' and bulletcatchin', but the truly powerful ones, the ones that shape the outcome spend time bein' a General, mapping out the battle and assessing situations.

Now while I don't tend to look at life as a war or series of battles, but rather a game made up of smaller games and plays, the simile fits, as war is just another one of the games that we play on this planet, and every game informs every other, to some degree.

So the General's Tent Laser Coaching Session is an invitation to step out of the fray and get laser-focused on goals and strategy.

While action is important, action without intention is wasted effort.

Take some time to align your mind with the most Divine, then step to the field and SHINE. :)

Much Love
Mateo
